The apartment is located in one of the nicest most livable
neighborhoods in Toronto. Downtown but quiet with tree lined streets, North of
Bloor, West of Bathurst. It's a highly walkable and bikeable neighborhood. 10
minute walk from Bathurst and Christie subway stations, 5 minutes from multiple
bus lines. 5 minute walk to beautiful Christie Pits park. 25 minute walk, 10
minute bike ride to University of Toronto.

It's near tons of nice little
restaurants. There are two local cafes at the corner. There are five major
grocery stores and two affordable fruit markets within a 10 minutes walk.
The
basement was renovated to be as environmentally friendly, healthy, allergy
friendly, and comfortable as possible. There is no gas in the house and so no
exposure to unhealthy combustion or risk of carbon monoxide exposure. There are
brand new AC DC central alert smoke alarms in each room, and a fire extinguisher
under the sink. The basement has its own fresh air system, and does not
share air with the rest of the house, or have any old dusty air vents, so it's
great for allergy sufferers. The fresh air system ensures it never feels
stuffy.
The basement has two entrances. The front door offers keyless
entry, through a shared cold room (perfect for storing a small bike and shoes).
There is a private entrance in the back.
The basement is sound
insulated, to reduce noise transfer between floors. Brand new doors, triple pane
window and light blocking curtains help make a quiet private space.
The
kitchen has full-sized oven, fridge and dishwasher. The oven hood properly vents
to the outdoors. The study has full size ensuite laundry machines, with front
loader washer and dryer.
The basement has brand new heat pump
heating and cooling, a fresh air system with allergy filters, on demands hot
water, an electric fireplace, and porcelain tile floors. The nice overhead
lights have perfect coverage, are set to a pleasant warm colour temperature, and
are on dimmers so you can get the perfect lighting adjusted to your mood. The
shower has removable sprayer that acts as a second shower head, and includes a
teak shower seat. The bathroom has an extra quiet bathroom vent fan.
Furniture can be rearranged or removed as you like. We were renters
most of our lives, so we tried to make a place that is extra pleasant to rent
and live in.
