If you work downtown, but prefer to not live in the midst of the insanity, by subway, you're ten minutes away from Yonge/Bloor, and about twenty mins to Union Station.
If being in nature your thing, jump on your bike and head over to the Brickworks, Taylor Creek or Sunnybrook Park. Or drive about ten minutes and shoot a round of golf at one of two awesome city courses.
Getting out of the city quickly is possible if you just drive five minutes, and take the Don Valley Parkway north or south and you'll be zooming away for the weekend in no time.
